Elon Musk has had it with Delaware — but don't expect other corporations to flee the business-friendly state, too. Musk also specifically went after the judge who ruled to void his pay package, Kathleen McCormick, calling her an "activist and politician" in an X post. "The reason Elon Musk frequently escapes account from other judges is because they don't see through his phantabulating," Lauren Pringle, editor of the Chancery Daily, which covers Delaware courts, told the outlet. Advertisement"I don't expect a mass migration of firms from Delaware," Michal Barzuza, a professor at the University of Virginia who researches corporate law and governance, told the Post. So, despite Musk's latest crusade against the state, it seems unlikely many other Delaware-based corporations will jump ship anytime soon.

Portfolio manager Elias Erickson focuses on finding stocks that can withstand market fluctuations. With the bull market still flourishing, current stock market conditions are a far cry from where they began the year. Coming off last October's market lows, a series of macroeconomic factors have given equities plenty of whiplash this year. "We're trying to buy businesses that will be adaptable to a variety of different macroeconomic environments," Erickson explained to Insider in an interview. Constellation Software, a Canadian-based acquirer of vertical market software, also makes up one of Erickson's largest positions.

Wedbush maintained its outperform rating for Tesla, and shared a 12-month price target of $215, or about 27% higher than the current share price. The long wait times for vehicles, according to Piper Sandler, is a bullish sign because it means demand is robust. "The answer is complex, because wait times don't solely reflect consumers' appetite for buying Teslas vs. other cars." In effect, the lengthy wait times should be "interpreted favorably," in Potter's view. Piper Sandler's price target for Tesla is $280 a share, or more than 65% higher from current levels.
